Demon’s Mirror is a dark fantasy roguelike game from Be-Rad Entertainment and combines different sub-genres, providing a unique experience. The game mixes roguelike deckbuilding and a grid manipulation battle system.
The chain-3 system lets players match adjacent tiles of 3 or more if they are touching in any way. The developer has now announced a Modifier system that is unique than any other similar title and will pull fans right in the game.

The game is currently available as a demo on PC via Steam and is scheduled to release sometime this year. The developer describes Demon’s Mirror as an “experience where Slay the Spire meets Puzzle Quest.” Players chose between mystical creatures and step into a “dark and chaotic realm” to store balance.
Players use cards, tiles, and other items to defeat the enemies they come across the realm. The developer has now announced a Modifier system in the game that will make the experience better for players, depending on their wishes if they want to easy or hard battles.
The Modifiers in the game are basically to help players make the game easier or harder. There are different modifiers in the system and there is an easy way to identify them. The modifiers that are up top make the game difficult and those down make the game easy for the players.
These modifiers can give players more gold, provide extra rounds, make enemies have less health, and even give access to rare cards and trinkets that can be used to easily beat enemies. The difficulty modifiers can do exactly the opposite for players who wants to play on harder difficulty.
The Modifiers Will Make the Battles Worthwhile

Demon’s Mirror has over 200 cards to choose from for players to make the deck and features chain-3 mechanics for grid manipulation and turn-based combat. There are regular battles against normal enemies and elite battles against more formidable opponents.
This is where the modifier system will help players. The modifiers can give players extra moves, rare cards, or more rounds and power that will be helpful against the opponents in elite battles. For unlocking modifiers, players need to complete the missions or objectives.
These objectives will grant access for players to modifiers with different attributes. The objectives can be reset and completed as players wish and add more junk tiles and power for players to use in battles. The game has both challenging and rewarding mechanic that would keep players coming back.
There are also other features such as accessibility option to get some help like highlighting chains. Rare cards for temporary powers and moves, and much more.
