Manga Deadpool may have stolen Ryan Reynolds’ origin plan with the movie and implemented it in Deadpool Samurai‘s 2nd Season. Kasama Sanshirou and Uesugi Hikaru’s latest project had everything in a state of shock when they turned a rom-com into one of the most gruesome murder sequences ever. It proves that where there is Deadpool, there will be gore.

Almost a month back, Shueisha announced a new rom-com manga named Secret Steward. It had a generic boy-girl story who fell in love. In the past, the story focused on their relationship. But in the latest chapter, the protagonist was run over by a truck, and his body almost blasted in every direction. And who was driving the truck? Deadpool. Then it was announced that it was the promo of Deadpool Samurai‘s 2nd season. Secret Steward kept the original manga a secret, with a surprise in store for the audience.

Like Kasama Sanshirou and Uesugi Hikaru’s masterpiece, Ryan Reynolds had also planned the same with Deadpool & Wolverine. He wanted it to be announced as a weird cop story, and the Marvel logo would be shown a few minutes into the movie. During an episode of Hot Ones on First We Feast, Reynolds said,

“The original idea with this movie was to shoot a fake movie called ‘Alpha Cop,’ that was intentionally bad. … I even had one of the posters made. It was about two guys that were sharing one brain, and together, they make the perfect cop. Alpha cop, two cops, one brain, all balls.”

Reynolds’ weird idea has been finally utilized by Shueisha. The manga chapter perfectly portrayed the gore that Deadpool brings with him. Like always, he broke the fourth wall and said, “Ya boy’s back on the Viz App! Didja miss me?” As soon as the announcement was made, every fan went bonkers on social media. They wasted no time in sharing how excited they were to see two new Deadpools in less than a month.

No one thought that Secret Steward would be hiding such a big secret until the accident happened. It has been a few years since season one was released, and no one expected it to happen in such a manner. But Deadpool tends to leave the audiences in shock, and this was not an exception either. The social media went wild after the revelation. The post was soon flooded with numerous comments.

Ryan Reynolds had a great plan. Even if the movie would not have gained much on the opening day, once everyone came to know about it, the ticket sales would have skyrocketed. Moreover, this time, he also had Wolverine with him. Unfortunately, the movie freaks missed it, but they have a chance to enjoy it with Deadpool Samurai‘s 2nd Season.

Deadpool Samurai is available on Viz Media.
