Avatar: The Legend of Korra might not have had the charm of Avatar: The Last Airbender, but the show was on par with its predecessor when it came to the breakneck action that the franchise crafted with its bending-based elemental/magic system.

While there seems to be no formal plans to follow Netflix’s Live-Action Adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender by giving the same treatment to The Legend of Korra, however, if that were to become a reality, a particular scene that Reddit has appreciated a lot needs to be done to perfection in the show.

One of the many fights that the Avatar fandom still talks about to this day is Ming Hua’s encounter with Mako. The Red Lotus member’s fight with the Fire Ferret was seen as one of the most creative and fun fights in The Legend of Korra, but also one of the most controversial.
The reason for the contention that existed in this fight was that a lot of fans believed that Mako emerged victorious thanks to his environment. Given that the fight was essentially between a local sports star and an international terrorist, there is a lot that is still up for debate, one that can be resolved with a well-thought-out rematch in a live-action adaption.
The next Avatar series seems to be heading towards a completely new direction

Avatar Studios is allegedly hard at work on the next installment in the Avatar franchise, along with a slew of other projects that will be hitting streaming platforms and theatres in the coming years. Polygon reported that the show about the Earthbending Avatar is supposed to take place a hundred years after The Legend of Korra, which reduces the likelihood of audiences seeing any characters return.
However, as is the case with The Legend of Korra, there might be a cast of characters that are the descendants of the original team Avatar, or even the people that Korra decided to roll with in her own series. Fans expect to see some semblance of fan favorites like Bolin and Opal, Meelo, and even Zuko’s grandson, Iroh II.
Avatar: The Last Airbender is also set to get a theatrical film with an adventure featuring the adult Gaang. This would allow the audiences to follow up with the original cast between the events of The Last Airbender and the Legend of Korra, which will feature Dave Bautista as the main antagonist.
