Fortnite stands as the undisputed king when it comes to crossovers! The free-to-play battle royale title has collaborated with every facet of pop culture under the sun, ranging from Marvel to Stranger Things to music artists and much more!
The game’s crossover reign continues as its latest update has finally brought back the much-requested Dragon Ball crossover! Epic Games has unleashed three new character skins from the popular anime. While they’re all pretty phenomenal, there’s one in particular that has caught everyone’s attention.
Fortnite Gamers Can’t Get Enough of New Z Fighter Skins!
Recently, dataminers revealed that Fortnite will receive some new Dragon Ball skins, and as of this week, they’ve already arrived in the game. Epic Games announced that three brand-new skins from the popular anime had been added to the battle royale with Android 18, Android 18, and Trunks.
A clear fan favorite, Trunks is the son of Vegeta and Bulma from a future where Goku ends up dying due to a heart virus before the androids arrive on the scene and eliminate the entire cast of Z Fighters.

The Trunks skin costs 2,000 V-Bucks and includes several goodies for the character. One of these is the “Charging Up” emote, which allows the character to transform into his iconic Super Saiyan form from the original series!
It’s clear that Epic Games has put a lot of attention into developing the emote, as the transformation looks absolutely stunning! Players on various social media outlets have gone wild since Epic Games revealed the emote, and they are clearly concerned for their wallets now as the studio keeps unbelievable cosmetics.

It’s worth pointing out that all the new character skins look quite a lot different in Dragon Ball Super in terms of their outfits. This means that there’s still more room for Epic Games to bring new versions or alternative styles of these characters in the future!
With how gamers have been constantly asking for different Z Fighter outfits and variants lately, it won’t be surprising to see that happen later.
Epic Games Continues With Phenomenal Anime Collaborations
While Fortnite has made a name for itself due to its various collaborations, it’s only one of the few games in the industry that has successfully managed to incorporate multiple popular anime without letting down fans.
One of the most iconic ones we’ve ever seen was dropped way back in 2022 with the Dragon Ball Super crossover. The franchise has been regarded as the face of Japanese anime in the world.
Epic Games elevated the crossover experience by also bringing the Shinobi world and another Shonen manga, with Naruto and famous characters from Konoha Village dropping in! Heck, we even saw a collaboration with Attack on Titan with renowned characters such as Eren Jaeger, Levi Ackerman, and Mikasa Ackerman.
The studio has also brought new generation franchises such as Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia, and much more for anime lovers to enjoy and suit up as their favorite characters.
With Epic Games bringing Dragon Ball yet again, it’s clear that the studio wants to continue building up on anime crossovers and bring new immersive experiences for gamers.
