Epic Games’ Fortnite has dominated the industry for over half a decade now. The Battle Royale game has been a massive hit around the world and without a doubt, the collaborations are one of the main reasons why the title has continued to stay relevant.
Epic Games has worked with various musicians, movies, video games, and anime franchises in the past, allowing players to rep skins from their favorite franchises. Rumors are suggesting that another major collaboration is on its way and this time, it’s not Marvel or Dragon Ball.
The Simpsons Are Coming To Fortnite
A popular X account that covers Fortnite leaks, SamLeakss, has revealed that The Simpsons are coming to the game very soon.
The collaboration is reportedly in development and it comes from the same anonymous source that leaked the upcoming Fortnite and Disney Shop + Avatar collaboration. With Chapter 5 Season 4 right around the corner, fans can expect to see many more collaborations soon.
SamLeakss also confirmed that a huge collaboration with Disney is in the works and is set for late 2026. Fans should expect a collaboration with Disney’s popular franchises such as The Incredibles, Cars, or Toy Story.
The Simpsons franchise isn’t new to video games. Between 1991 and 2007, various Simpsons games were released for video game consoles, with The Simpsons: Hit & Run (2003) being the most popular title in the series. In recent years, EA and Arcade1Up have developed five games for mobile devices.
Fans Loved The Deadpool & Wolverine Collaboration
To celebrate the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, Marvel collaborated with Epic Games last month to release exclusive Deadpool and Wolverine skins in Fortnite. Fans loved the highly detailed comic book-style skins. Shortly after that, players got to see a collaboration with Fall Guys.
Now, Epic Games is gearing up for Chapter 5 Season 4 and fans just can’t wait for it. The trailer has revealed some interesting collaborations with Marvel that will add Gwenpool, War Machine, Peelverine, Emma Frost, Captain Jonesy, Mysterio, Shuri, and Doctor Doom skins to the game.
The update will be Marvel-themed and is all set to add many weapons plus fans can expect to see the return of an old weapon: Cluster Clingers. The current season will end at 11 pm ET on August 15th, so fans should expect to see the new season start as soon as this one ends.
As for the Simpsons collaboration, it is unclear when it will be added to the game but fans should expect to see it in Chapter 5 Season 4. Fortnite is available on Windows, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Android.
