Since he is also an actor built like a superhero, he can bring many characters from the miniature wargame to life on the silver screen. With the release of Space Marine 2 on the horizon, these are our top 5 picks for characters from Warhammer 40K that Cavill could pull off just fine.

#5 Inquisitor Thrax

Henry Cavill has expressed his love for Warhammer 40K several times. Inquisitor Thrax is one of the most exciting characters who appears towards the end of Space Marine. He is tasked with investigating Captain Titus for signs of heresy.

Upon arrival, Thrax can tell that Chaos inflicted Titus’ injuries upon him, taking the player aback by his experience. He appears calm but lethal. Subsequently, when the proceedings begin, he comes off as level-headed and someone who doesn’t get hot under the collar unless there is a strong reason.

Thrax is a towering personality, a force to be reckoned with. Hence, Cavill could bring him to life on the big screen.

#4 Sidonus

A battle-hardened veteran sergeant in the Ultra Marines during the 41st Millenia, Sidonus is perhaps one of the most badass characters in the Space Marine lore. Sidonus fights alongside the valiant former captain of the second company, Titus, and has served Macragge for over two centuries.

Despite losing his arm in a Tyranid attack, every ounce of his personality is rife with grit, wit, and determination. Henry Cavill showed his ruthless self when he played Geralt in The Witcher TV Series on Netflix.

Despite the difference between playing an Ultra Marine and a Witcher, Cavill puts his heart and soul into every role, embodying every character he plays. Hence, there is little to no reason why he can’t play Sidonus.

#3 Inquisitor Drogan

Drogan has one of the most intimidating appearances among all the characters in the Space Marine subseries. Image Credits: Focus Entertainment.

Inquisitor Drogan is a character who carries an incredibly intimidating appearance. Clad in dark grey/gunmetal armor, Inquisitor Drogan introduces himself as a ‘soldier and scientist.’

Carrying plenty of scars on the side of his skull and a metal plate visible as a neatly plastered prosthetic, Drogan’s appearance is repulsive. Cavill is quite the charmer known for being one of the most handsome individuals in the industry.

However, seeing him in an avatar like this will surprise fans as they have yet to see him in a role that demands a vastly different facial appearance. Moreover, carrying such a role will also be a worthy challenge for the actor.

#2 Leandros

This is one of the most hated faces in the Warhammer 40K: Space Marine community. Image Credits: Focus Entertainment.

Leandros is the space marine who is suspicious of Captain Titus being a heretic. He is the one who calls upon Inquisitor Thrax and asks him to begin investigating Titus.

Towards the end of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine, we see a lot of friction between Titus and Leandros. Despite appearing as an antagonist, Leandros is just a young-blooded Ultra Marine committed to his duty. Cavill could be an excellent choice to portray the new Ultra Marine, who considers the Codex a line carved in stone and, unlike Captain Titus, doesn’t consider them guidelines.

#1 Demetrian Titus

Henry Cavill would be best suited to play Demetrian Titus if Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is adapted into a movie.

The protagonist of the Space Marine subseries in Warhammer 40K. This would probably be the character most suited for the likes of Henry Cavill. Pragmatic, righteous, and dutiful, Titus leads by example and will never let his brothers, under his command, be harmed.

Cavill, who has played a fair share of protagonist characters, might be the best fit to play this character. This is not only because Titus resembles characters played by the former but also because Cavill is incredibly well-versed in the Warhammer 40K lore.
