Blake Lively has long been a favorite of fans, many of whom look up to her and consider her as their role model. Starring in the live-action adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s It Ends with Us, the actress’s press tour for the movie, to say the least, has been disastrous for her public image. Taking the ‘disaster’ part even further are the many on-set details emerging after the release of the movie, and one in particular seems to have royally backfired for the Gossip Girl star.
Blake Lively’s Alleged Feud with Co-Star Justin Baldoni Gets Disastrous Update
Ever since the start of This Ends with Us press tour, fans have noticed the contract between Blake Lively‘s approach to her character and film and Justin Baldoni’s approach to the same. A romantic drama film that is based on the sensitive topic of domestic abuse and more, Lively’s take on the film seems to be more on celebrating her character as a whole, while Baldoni has been taking care to talk about the flick’s sensitive theme (see Forbes).
This different approach has not sat right with fans, many of whom seem to favor Baldoni more, especially in light of recent reports of a feud between the two co-stars (via TMZ). Recently, TMZ revealed some more shocking details about the alleged feud between co-stars Lively and Baldoni (who also serve as producer and director on the film, respectively).
According to TMZ, Lively felt Baldoni body-shamed her after he asked his on-set trainer how much the actress weighed since he has a history of back problems and was supposed to film a scene where he lifts the actress into the air. Furthermore, the actress became uncomfortable after Baldoni kissed her longer than was necessary for one scene.
Reports of the on-set feuds have been rampant, and fans really believe the two have some bad blood between them. But when this latest piece of gossip made its way to social media, fans are convinced Lively is to blame.

Since the start of It Ends with Us press tour, Blake Lively seems to be angering fans over one thing or the other. Whether it is the difference between her and Justin Baldoni’s interviews for the film (see X), or her making a joke about domestic abuse (see X), people’s opinions regarding the actress have largely been negative as of late.
So when the recent behind-the-scenes details about Baldoni allegedly fat-shamming her went viral, fans had some of the most vicious things to say about the Gossip Girl star.

As more and more details about the two continue to emerge, this drama is certainly going to get dirtier. Amid all this, Justin Baldoni has hired a crisis PR Manager, suggesting that at least some of these details might hold some truth (via E Online). On the other hand, Lively might need to tone down things if she needs to save her public image from ruin.
