Helldivers 2 was a massive triumph from Arrowhead Game Studios and was a great first attempt for Sony Interactive Entertainment to dip its toes in the live service arena. Unfortunately, every successful game has its fair share of bugs and glitches and the gaming community has had enough of it.
Some of these inconsistencies and errors are beginning to get out of hand and will likely negatively impact the remaining player base. It is high time for the game developers to address these issues and offer the players a guarantee that all of these problems will be patched accordingly.
The Helldivers 2 Community Is Plum Out of Patience After Witnessing New Bugs
The gaming community is unsatisfied with the game’s current state and implores Arrowhead Game Studios to fix the mess before the remaining players turn their backs and abandon their posts while the Second Galactic War is still waging. The developers acknowledged their shortcomings and promised some changes in Helldivers 2 to happen in the next few months.
Players are used to games that are malfunctioning and not operating up to standard and not as the developers intended; however, the recent bugs in this game are a cut above the rest and it is not ideal for the game’s reputation and chances to remain relevant for the next few years. Fans are speechless with the recent bug involving bouncy enemies, sporadic behaviors, and mission mods.
This is the most ridiculous bug I’ve ever encountered in a video game.

The bugs and glitches were too much to bear and the remaining players were unbothered with enemy factions retaking hard-fought land and territory. The gaming community’s interest in the game is slowly dying down and it is an unfortunate hand to be dealt with, especially after the recent Helldivers 2 update rolled out and it caused more harm than good for the most part.
The Escalation of Freedom update was not enough to win back the favor of the gaming community and fans were explicit about their disdain. The recent updates took a massive step in the wrong direction and prioritized implementing more weapon nerfs making it a hassle to fight more overpowered enemies, and it took all the fun away and replaced it with a headache.
A New Batch of Helldivers 2 Bugs Has Emerged and It Is Killing the Game
There is still time for the game developers to turn the situation around. However, the damage has already been done and the gaming community is slowly losing its fate in the studio and the game.
Live service games are not immune from technical drawbacks and likely never will and that is an opportunity for game developers to step up their game and make the most of it. Arrowhead Game Studios has been through worse in the past and the developers are far from done.
Despite all the flaws and shortcomings of the recent patch, the developers still did something right regarding the aesthetics of the pods. Some players noticed they had been updated which could be considered a sign that the studio is working to meet the fans’ expectations and deliver their promise.
Great games take time to perfect and the developers are fighting to keep the game afloat. Unfortunately, time is not their ally and neither is the fans’ patience.
