The player base responded positively to Chapter 2 Season 4: Nexus War and is pleased to see this season take a similar approach, as they are certain this will be the second-best season of Fortnite.
Epic Games and Marvel wanted a villain powerful enough to be judge, jury, and executioner of this season and Doctor Doom fits the bill perfectly. The ruler of Latveria has been a threat to the Marvel universe for too long, and the game developers wanted to ensure the gaming community knows exactly who they are dealing with and what he is capable of.

This variant of Doom is as powerful as he is sadistic. Players discovered his trophies from those who dared to stand against him, and among them are the remains of Marvel’s First Family: the Fantastic Four. However, Doom decided to leave his rival, Reed Richards, alive after crumpling him into a ball with other omnipotent beings who did not stand a chance against his might.
Doom repurposed the rocky remains of the Thing as his throne and put the heart of the Human Torch on display. While it remains unclear, it would seem the corpse of the Invisible Woman is sitting in a clear box while their fearless leader is trapped in a fate worse than death.

Players will need all the help they can get to face this powerful foe and recent leaks suggest that classic mythic abilities from Chapter 2 Season 4 are returning to balance the playing field.
Epic Games wanted to push the envelope and feature as many characters as possible without having them as a shock factor. Fans witnessed how Galactus nearly succeeded with his plan to devour Earth during the Nexus War and he will likely have a role to play as he emerges slowly from the ground.
The gaming community is hooked and plans to see this season through and finish it strong. Absolute Doom is expected to be an absolute banger of a season and could redeem the game from past mistakes.
