The recent announcement of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece remake has taken the entire internet by storm. The One Piece will now be a new animated series in the works by WIT Studio. Naturally, the revelation created a huge buzz online, enthralling fans worldwide. The One Piece remake news has fans optimistic about seeing the renewal of their beloved animes that once left them disappointed.
Many animes met an unfortunate end as the manga’s compelling narrative would over-hype the community but later fall short of expectations. Several Berserk fans are once again hopeful for their beloved series’ return after so many years; however, one anime that arguably deserves a remake even more is Seven Deadly Sins.
Amidst the One Piece Remake, Fans Hope for a Seven Deadly Sins Revival
Eiichiro Oda‘s One Piece is arguably the most popular anime franchise, captivating several fans worldwide. Luffy’s Gear Five transformation has become a global sensation, featuring numerous references in the 2024 Olympics. Despite the series’ enormous popularity in the community, many viewers complain about the long list of episodes which prevents many newcomers from diving into the series.
However, with the announcement of the One Piece remake, WIT Studio also disclosed the remake will consist of only 200 plus episodes and conclude with the Egghead Island Arc. The remake also promises to deliver a much more unique experience than the original, leaving the fans eagerly anticipating.
Interestingly, the OP remake reignited hope for fans of beloved animes that suffered from poor production, wishing for their return to redeem their negative reputation in the community.
Seven Deadly Sins‘ surprising downfall despite Season 1 and Season 2’s immense success serves as a cautionary tale for many new-gen animes. Nakaba Suzuki’s Seven Deadly Sins featuring the story of seven Britannian warriors instantly became a hit weeks after its debut. Although Suzuki’s manga captivated several fans with his splendid narrative, the anime production team messed up a well-promising anime.
This anime really went from seven deadly sins to seven deadly frames 😂 pic.twitter.com/iBObbCJL1G

With the release of the third season, the animation quality of the Seven Deadly Sins suffered drastically. Naturally, the fandom was left disheartened by witnessing the surprising downfall of the series, despite its enormous popularity among the audience.

It should have been one of the best fight scenes in the 7DS series but it got ruined by this animation. Too bad They didn't have enough budget and time for this. Instead of becoming an epic battle animation it became an epic meme.

I remember the day this episode dropped, it was basically the death of the majority of the fans the show had. Twitter was in a meltdown lol

The downfall needs to be studied, it's crazy they did this for one of the hypest fights in the series too.

Aside from a compelling plot, well-captured fight scenes are a key component of shonen anime. However, Seven Deadly Sins falls short of expectations, lacking the dynamic fight scenes and fluid animation expected from an anime of its caliber. Interestingly, OP‘s remake has opened up an opportunity for Seven Deadly Sins to redeem its reputation and leave a memorable impression with its return.
One Piece Theory Hints at Usopp’s Rise from Weakest to the Strongest Warrior in the Elbaf arc
Despite being seen as the weakest Straw Hat member in One Piece, Usopp has been a crowd favorite by being comic relief in Luffy’s crew. It’s been years since we last saw our beloved Sniper King overpowering his opponents in combat. The last time when we saw Usopp in the spotlight was back in the Dressrosa Arc earning him the title of ‘God Usopp’.
Interestingly, a recent OP theory has taken over the internet, suggesting Usopp’s upcoming power update in Elbaf Island. The theory claims that the Sniper King could surpass every Straw Hat member except the iconic trio (Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro) by eating Kuma’s devil fruit, Nikyu Nikyu no Mi, and becoming a Devil Fruit user.
Surprisingly, it also hints that Usopp becomes the Two Devil Fruits wielder after Blackbeard. The theory continues to captivate readers by suggesting Usopp’s weapon merges with Orochi’s devil and receives an immense power update. Lastly, the theory hints at gaining the ability to manipulate the Observation Haki of others and deceit his opponents to perceive false future information during the battle.
As of August 2024, you can watch One Piece on Crunchyroll.
