The video, titled simply “The Beast Is Coming,” has sent fans into a frenzy of speculation, with many convinced that Techland’s highly-anticipated sequel is about to make its debut.

But that’s not the only evidence. Just last week, Techland, the developer behind the popular parkour zombie-slaying games, filed for a new trademark for a title called “Dying Light: The Beast.”

Coincidence? Fans think not! However, it’s better to wait than just getting the hopes up only to be left disappointed.
Fans Demand In-Engine Footage, Not Just Teasers
While the prospect of a new Dying Light game has fans excited, some are wary of getting too hyped up based on a live-action trailer alone. Many are hoping that the Gamescom reveal will include some actual in-engine footage of the game, rather than just another cinematic teaser.
