Nintendo also shared more details on the museum and the experience, as well as the opening date, which is set for October 2, 2024. While fans are happy about the museum, they seemingly do not like the way it looks, especially after it is meant to showcase the rich history of the reputed company.

Aside from exhibits and fun activities, the video also showcased where the museum is built and more. Fans are excited about this, but the architecture of the museum isn’t sitting right with them.

After Geoff Keighley shared that the museum will be opening for visitors in October, fans in replies pointed at the now-so-good look of the building. One fan said that the museum looks like an Amazon warehouse. They said that they are sure it looks beautiful inside, but it’s “sad how architecture creativity has diminished.”

However, many other fans have said that they are excited to visit the museum and wish it would open in other palaces. Although it’d not be entirely wrong to say that the museum building does look a bit like a warehouse, it is still beautiful and will bring many fans together.

Despite some fans not liking the outside looks, the museum is beautifully built and will showcase the company’s 135-year history with displays of various products it has built over the years. The entrance features a Mario-themed plaza with warp pipes, a question block, and many more items.

The Famicom, Wii, Game Boy, DS, and Switch will be on display, but expect nothing on the Switch 2 yet. Fans can play Nintendo games with huge controllers, which is like playing with a huge Wii remote.

There is also a virtual shooting gallery for the NES Zapper and SNES Super Scope and a batting cage to hit the products with ping pong balls. The other experiences include Shigureden SP, Ultra Hand SP, Love Tester SP, Game & Watch SP, and many more for fans to have an amazing time at the museum.

The museum website is now open to anyone interested in making reservations to visit the museum once it opens on October 2, 2024. It will cost fans 3,300 Yen to visit, and there are special charges for children and teens.
