However, you might not have rung them. It’s not until the clash with WhiteClad Noble that you’ll listen to a riddle and then be prompted to find the Black Myth Wukong three bells.

Bell 1

The first bell can be located after the Outside the Forest Checkpoint, where you’ll turn into Cicada for a few seconds.

Head into the area open ahead, and to the left side, you’ll come across an open area with the optional boss, Guangzhi. The Bell shrine is right behind him, accessible once you defeat him.

Bell 2

For the second bell, after the Snake Trail Checkpoint, you’re required to follow the path beyond the Gorud Master until you make it to the open area full of bamboo and snake skeletons.

You’ll see a gap in the wall marked by another boss, Guangmou. Eliminate them and walk to the candle-marked staircase to find the next bell.

Bell 3

For the final bell, after defeating Whiteclad Noble past the Marsh of White Mist Checkpoint, you must turn left and follow along the river through the gap in the cliffs. The Bell Shrine will be right ahead of you, past some praying Yaoguai.

Ringing the bells in Black Myth Wukong doesn’t do anything at first. They have no special effect attached to them individually, but ringing them all can allow you to unlock a new area and have a boss encounter!

After ringing the bells, you will be automatically teleported to a secret area called the Ancient Guanyin. Don’t fear, though! Developer Game Science has put up a checkpoint here, so you can always fast travel to and from the Temple at this point.

The Ancient Guanyin Temple has a yard full of crucial resources that players can take, followed by a new boss called Elder Jinchi. This is arguably one of the most challenging encounters when you begin your journey.
