Starfield Confirmed the Official Release Date for Shattered Space And a Free Starfield Update
After much anticipation and without a confirmed date, but showing a small preview of all the story-related content it will add, Starfield, along with Bethesda, finally announced the release date for the expansion of this title on the Gamescom 2024.
Shattered Space will delve into the more supernatural aspects of this world, including several of the forces that control everything happening in space. Naturally, this content will also add numerous new mechanics eagerly awaited by players.
Players had been requesting the first official vehicle for the game since its inception, and this announcement coincided with its unveiling. The vehicle, named Rev-8, will possess thrusters that enable it to traverse any terrain and prevent it from plunging into the void.
Among the additions this content will bring, players will have the ability to upgrade their base more than before, and there will likely be more robots to assist.

The release date for Shattered Space will be next September 30th for Xbox Series S/X and PC. Thanks to the announcement of this content, Starfield could potentially regain all the players who left, frustrated by the game’s rather convoluted mechanics.
