The Short Dragon Ball Trailer Holds Some Remarkable Moments

The trailer begins with Ultra Instinct Goku, where the frame shifts to the series antagonist donning his infamous Yardrat outfit. It first appears during the Android arc after he returns to earth following his escape from Dying Namek. We can see him clash against his father, Bardock.

There was this instance where we could see Mr. Satan running away from the Great Ape Vegeta. It was previously confirmed that the fake world champion won’t be getting a jetpack like in games like Budokai Tenkaichi 3.

During the halfway point, the game showcases a recreated scene during the Cell arc where Goku and Teen Gohan train in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Interestingly, that is the only level granted access to the split-screen battles.

Furthermore, talk of the town became Ultimate Gohan, who was seen fighting Goku Super Saiyan Rose, and Super Buu using his infamous Human Extinction Attack.

Just before Ultimate Gohan is revealed, we hear Piccolo’s popular quote, “sorry to keep you waiting.” It felt like Bandai Namco was addressing the fans, which felt great.

The game is releasing on October 11, 2024 and is currently available for pre-orders. Pre-ordering the game will grant access to characters like Super Saiyan Broly, Gogeta Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, and more. There’s a mystery character as a part of pre-order too, that’ll be revealed later.
