John Williams is one of the most iconic music composers of all time. Known for his work with Steven Spielberg, the composer has crafted multiple iconic themes that have become staples of pop culture. The legendary composer created themes for films such as Jaws, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Hook, Superman, Indiana Jones, and more.

However, the Academy Award-winning musician’s most famous theme for Star Wars seemingly did not impress actress Jenna Ortega. The Wednesday actress made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she was asked to rank six iconic scores in a list.

While she proved her loyalty to Tim Burton by giving Danny Elfman’s scores for Beetlejuice and The Nightmare Before Christmas the top two spots, she gave the third and fourth spots to John Williams’ Jurassic Park and Star Wars. Defending her choices, she said,

Here’s the thing, John Williams is obviously one of the best to ever do it. I’m not a crazy Star Wars person…You know what, here’s another important thing to remember too. Jurassic Park holds more nostalgic value for me than Titanic or Star Wars does.

The Beetlejuice Beetlejuice star also placed the scores of Titanic and the Lord of the Rings trilogy in the bottom two spots.

Jenna Ortega has been called this generation’s ‘Scream Queen’ after her appearance in multiple horror films such as X, Scream, Scream VI, and more. The actress also shot to fame when she played the dark and gothic Wednesday Addams in Tim Burton’s Netflix show Wednesday. She will be reuniting with the filmmaker for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Coming almost 36 years after the original film, Ortega stars along with Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, and Catherine O’Hara in the sequel. The actress mentioned that Burton called her over to his office to talk about the second season of Wednesday and instead placed the script of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

I just said, ‘Okay. Thanks, Tim’. I got in my car and then ten minutes later I pulled over on the side PCH, which is a big freeway in California…I sat on the rocks in front of the water and I just read the script for an hour. And then, I called my team and said, ‘I can’t tell you what I’m agreeing to but I am agreeing to it.’

Ortega will reportedly play Astrid Deetz, the daughter of Winona Ryder’s Lydia. Danny DeVito is also set to star in the film.
