Black Myth Wukong was at the top of the most-wishlisted game on Steam and soon after the launch, it has became the most-played game on the platform. The game beat the likes of humongous titles with massive player base such as Valve’s Counter-Strike 2 and Palworld.

The game also surpassed popular titles like Hogwarts Legacy, Elden Ring, PUBG, Dota 2, and Cyberpunk 2077. It also has now become the most-played single-player game ever on Steam, after overtaking CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077.

The game’s all-time peak is 2,358,580 players that was recorded 19 hours ago. At the time of writing, 1,389,966 players were playing the game, as per SteamDB. This numbers are only for PC and there are many more players playing on PC, making this the best ever launch for a game.

Considered as China’s first true AAA game, Black Myth does justice to that tag. The game will garner more players when it launches on Xbox soon. What are your thoughts about this game? Let us know in the comments!
