Beginning of the game’s trailer sees Goku in his Yardrat outfit clashing against his father, Bardock. As the clip advances, the Dragon Ball protagonist and Teen Gohan can be seen donning the Saiyan armor. Fans were seen admiring the outfits on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).

To this date, Goku’s Yardrat outfit remains among the favorite costumes for the fans. This comment from one user proves that.

Some fans were hoping to see the armor in the game. It appears that wishes do come true.

Seeing Goku and Gohan donning their outfits in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber might’ve jogged some good memories of the fans. That all but confirms their year-long training for a day there during the Majin Buu saga.

Then there’s the Yardrat outfit that takes us back to the momentary but hilarious introduction to the residents of Planet Yardrat. Their appearance is somewhat comical, but we don’t really know for sure as we saw them as Goku described them.

Both Universe 7 and Universe 2 feature the race but they differ a bit in their respective appearances. While the former universe’s model has pink skin, pointy ears, and some wrinkles on their face, the latter universe’s race has a round face without ears.

Universe 2 Yardrats first appeared in a video game and were designed by Akira Toriyama himself. We see both variants later during Dragon Ball Super, following Vegeta and Irico’s visit to their planet.

What do you think about the outfits shown in the trailer? We would like to know about it in the comments section below
