Morena Baccarin is best known to fans of the superhero genre as Vanessa Carlysle from the Deadpool films, with the actress recently appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine. However, on the social media platform X, one fan expressed a desire to see Baccarin join James Gunn’s DCU.
User @DarkInfamy_ expressed that Baccarin was perfect for the role of Selina Kyle / Catwoman in the upcoming Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which is a part of the DCU’s upcoming slate. If Baccarin secures the role, it wouldn’t be the first time she would play a DC Comics character.
One of Baccarin’s most notable roles was in the Batman prequel series Gotham, which aired on Fox from 2014 to 2019. In the series, Baccarin played the role of Leslie “Lee” Thompkins, a love interest to Jim Gordan. However, her character had little to do with her comic book counterpart.
