Pain’s Assault Arc proves Masashi Kishimoto’s excellence as a mangaka

To be a manga artist and produce some of the iconic series is a task. Masashi Kishimoto aced like. However, like his contemporaries, he wasn’t exempt from the brutal serialization. The overworked hours coupled with sleepless nights can make or breaking a manga artist. While the author faced gargantuan obstacles, his efforts paid off.

From breaking into cold sweats to pushing himself on the edge, Masashi Kishimoto’s efforts eventually paid off. This is clear in his drawing of Pain’s Shinra Tensei, which almost took him 3 days to finish. Besides that, it was one of the hardest scenes to draw, according to the author. However, that is not it. His writing of the Fourth Shinobi World War was unplanned as well.

While most fans argue the series should’ve ended with the Pain’s Assault Arc, it would have taken away Naruto’s character growth and development along with the author’s painstaking efforts for his manga. Besides that, both arcs underscored and outshined the side characters’ abilities and efforts for a change. To say the least, Pain’s Assault is truly iconic and has a well-written arc.
