In these early impressions from people who have had the chance to try the game, it’s evident that numerous characters, like Snake and Big Boss, have been well-updated. However, one character in particular, Ocelot, doesn’t seem to have fully convinced fans.

The Previews for Metal Gear Solid Delta Have Received Very Positive Reactions

Fans eagerly await the confirmation of the release date for one of the most anticipated remakes in recent years. Konami has worked hard on Metal Gear Solid Delta, especially as a Stealth game. It is a reimagining of the third title in this franchise, which was one of the best-received at the time.

The studio behind the game has started providing access to game codes to certain media outlets, and the first reactions have started to emerge.

Most of these reactions are very positive, praising the updated character designs, with names like Snake and Big Boss standing out. However, according to some of these reactions, Ocelot’s design didn’t meet the expectations of some players for this MGS remake.

It seems this has nothing to do with the game’s graphical potential but rather with the specific design the studio chose for this character—something similar to what happened with James in the Silent Hill 2 remake.

As is typical for fans of a legendary saga like Metal Gear Solid, many of those who had the opportunity to try this remake are already scrutinizing certain details.

Fortunately, this isn’t affecting the overall positive reception of what this new title offers, but there are some aspects of the character design that haven’t fully won people over. Considering these early reactions, it seems the game is poised to be a massive success.

According to various leaks regarding the release date of this title, Konami expects to launch the game before the end of the year, probably within the next two months.

Metal Gear Solid Delta will be a direct remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, the game originally released for PS2 in 2004. This particular game is one of the most important of that decade and continues to be regarded as one of the best of all time.

Many of these previews highlight the incredible work with Unreal Engine 5 and the graphical adaptation in this remake. It seems that Metal Gear Solid is making a strong comeback, and this could be the first of many new titles in this franchise that began in the mind of Hideo Kojima.

This Japanese studio is finally utilizing several of the IPs they have in the pipeline and modernizing them for the current era in terms of graphical standards.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
