Speculations have been going wild about the enemy factions featured, and players often ask for new enemies to be added to the game. Almost granting the wish, Saber Interactive’s latest roadmap has promised to bring new enemies in the upcoming seasons of the Year One Battle Plan.

Well, Season 3 and 4 will be released in 2025, but this news of getting new enemies is supposed to be an exciting one for players, but the reaction is quite the opposite.

On the subreddit, players have been asking others to lower their expectations, as overhype often leads to disappointment.

Taryf clearly stated that he has gone through the speculations, and the new enemy doesn’t guarantee a new opposing faction. Therefore, a new unit of an existing enemy faction may be featured.

Surprisingly, a significant number of players in the comment section agreed with this opinion that it would be a new unit and not an enemy faction.

Well, the Space Marine 2 roadmap also confirms that one of the most anticipated game modes will come to the game, but not in Season 1.

Of course, the game will be released with several modes, but the one mode that players have been requesting for a long time is the Horde mode, where Titus can slay waves of enemies. While the developer has been silent about this matter the entire time, the roadmap granted the confirmation.

The roadmap that Saber Interactive has released divided Space Marine 2’s first-year run into four seasons. The game will be released with Season 1 on September 9, and then, after feedback, the second season will be there between October and the end of the year.

However, the most anticipated Horde mode won’t be included in any of these two seasons. Instead, players need to wait until Season 4, which will come sometime in 2025, to get the Horde mode.
