The Great Saiyaman will be playable in the game

When it comes to the characters available in the game, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero boasts an immense roster. From characters like the Great Saiyaman, who hasn’t featured in many Dragon Ball games, to members of the Ginyu Force, the game has something for everyone.

It seems the starting roster isn’t finished yet, with new leaks suggesting that Pure Evil Bu and Babidi are also joining the game. Though both the characters have previously appeared in Budokai Tenkaichi games, this is definitely a pleasant surprise for the fans.

Both the characters are from the Buu saga and are expected to be playable at release. Babidi, the clone son of another character, Bibidi, is one of the antagonists in the series. The alien wizard was responsible for reviving Buu, whom he tried to control for his own personal benefit.

On the other hand, Buu doesn’t need any introduction. He is one of the most loved characters in the series and played a major role in the whole Buu saga, which also put Gohan at the forefront. Other Buu versions are also part of the game’s roster, and it seems like Spike Chunsoft is going all out with the Buu saga.

From roster to visuals, the game looks phenomenal in all ways. Spike Chunsoft has done an excellent job of keeping the game’s physics as realistic as possible based on what we’ve seen so far.

It’s worth pointing out that the game is built on Unreal Engine 5, and the gameplay visuals from the teasers reflect that. The environment will also be destructible in the game, ensuring the theme of chaos remains intact.

Another trailer for the game is expected to drop soon. Though Spike Chunsoft has been very discreet with their reveals, rumors have it that the next trailer will center around the Buu saga characters. Given the leaks for the characters mentioned earlier, it totally makes sense.
