Harry Potter Quidditch Champions Brings Hogwarts Legacy Character to the Pitch

Harry Potter games, for the most part, have featured the titular characters from the series as the main protagonists of the story. So, when Hogwarts Legacy announced players would view the magical world through a new set of eyes, it was an exciting opportunity. Cut to 2023, and it became one of the biggest games in the market and won multiple awards.

Along with giving the player the controller of an entirely new character, the game also introduced several new personas. Many became very endearing, with game fans wanting to know more about their backstory and spend more time with them. While the former may not have been fleshed out, players are getting some beloved characters back from previous games in Harry Potter Quidditch Champions.

One of these characters jumping across titles is Sebastien Sallow, one of the many characters you get to adventure with in Hogwarts Legacy. Sallow’s questline is one of the more important and rewarding ones from the game, as not only does it have a compelling story, but it also nets you three of the most powerful curses in the wizarding world. So, when players found out he could be unlocked in Quidditch Champions, they were understandably excited.

You need to own a copy of Hogwarts Legacy and Quidditch Champions and log into your WB Games account to access this character. There is no current indication that more such characters will be coming to the roster, but we can hope and expect to see some more fan favorites fly onto the pitch soon.

It’s not often one gets to play a sport from the Wizarding World, so fans want to make the most of each opportunity. Much like other sports games, Harry Potter Quidditch Champions has a seasonal content roadmap that will feature several events and updates. Winter will bring about the Defense Against the Dark Arts theme, but fans are most excited for the next update.

The developers are working on a 6v6 PvP mode for the Nintendo Switch, which will allow players to take part in a massive online Quidditch match. Other platforms can already access this mode, and players can choose to take on the role of a Beater, Chaser, Seeker, or Keeper to help fly their team to victory.

The game will be available on 3 September 2024 and is free for PS Plus subscribers. Unbroken Studios has big events planned for the title, and fans hope the game will live up to their expectations.

From understanding the complexities of a multilayer narrative to the simply joy of "big gun go boom", my goal is to capture all the emotions in between and put them down in an engaging manner.
