In the Demon Slayer universe, there is only one who stands higher than all the other demons, and that is Kibutsuji Muzan, also referred to as the Demon King. His powers and insight are so extraordinary that nothing can hide even the tiniest of secrets from him, since he had total control over all the demonic abilities. And even the bravest of demons shake at the very thought of crossing this man.
But one bold demon took that gamble. It was Douma! He attempted to hide Muzan’s most valuable treasure right in the open and left the fans wondering: Did Douma really pull off the impossible or was it all just a futile effort?
Douma Might’ve Hidden Blue Spider Lilies In His Garden Without Muzan Knowing!
Probably the biggest area of debate as of now, among all the Demon Slayer fans is how Douma, the most sadistic demon, could, in fact, have the highly sought-after Blue Spider Lilies in his garden. There’s a theory stating that Douma’s audacity and arrogance were strong enough to make him hide the most treasured prize of the Demon King, defying Muzan’s authority.
It could be said that he tried to hide the Blue Spider Lilies as some act of rebellion against the Demon King, cause Douma was the only demon who had the guts to pull off something like this.
Still, one short video from YouTube recently attempted to shed some light on this highly debated scenario by debunking the theory with a couple of strong arguments. It provides some evidence, painfully against such a thing ever happening, and raises a question as to Douma’s true motive and if he ever succeeded at all in keeping the Blue Spider Lilies out of Muzan’s ever-watchful eyes.
It’s Nearly Impossible To Hide Such Things From The Everlasting Curse of Muzan
As for being the Demon King, there’s no demon secret that can be kept from Muzan. Even with a spirit that feared no danger, Douma was still powerless to hide any secrets from Muzan’s all-knowing gaze. His demon blood cells and control over cursed demons as the Demon King, grant him the ability to read the thoughts of other demons.
However, fans came up with an interesting theory, stating that Douma had the Blue Spider Lilies and gave Muzan replicas of those. But this again is quite baseless considering the fact that Muzan’s curse makes sure no demon can lie before him or hide from him.
In the end, it is highly impossible that Douma had the Blue Spider Lilies in his garden, simply because Muzan would have known otherwise. If there actually was something similar, then it surely wasn’t the coveted Blue Spider Lilies. This further solidifies the fact that no secret can be put out under the sun, and Muzan still stands at the very top of demonhood as the supreme Demon King.
