When Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling were cast as Barbie and Ken in Barbie, many heads were turned thinking how they would even fit together. Further questions about Gosling’s competence to play Ken and his expected chemistry with Robbie were raised. However, all such questions were laid to rest once Barbie came out, proving that the two stars make up a wonderful pair.

Now the pair would be starring in George Clooney‘s Ocean’s franchise’s prequel. Titled Oceans, they would be playing the parents of Clooney’s character Danny Ocean. Set up in the 1960s, the plot revolves around the two teaching their young kids Danny and Debbie (previously played by Sandra Bullock) how to steal from the rich.
