A romantic black comedy, Hit Man details the life of a New Orleans Police Department part-timer who goes undercover as a reliable hitman to help arrest those who hired him. Things go pretty well until he comes across a girl trying to kill her husband. The saga gets more complicated once they end up romantically entangled.
Having premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival last year, the movie was recently released on Netflix. And surprisingly, it is now one of the top-rated movies of all time on Rotten Tomatoes with a score of 98%. Being described as a hugely entertaining watch, it is a first for a Netflix movie to receive such impeccable prase.
Fans Celebrate Glen Powell’s Hit Man Rating
Directed and co-written by Oscar-nominated Richard Linklater, Hit Man has turned out to be an epic hit among fans and critics. Starring Adria Arjona as well in the lead, the film has been doing surprisingly well on Netflix, seeing the highly impeccable reviews so far.
