The Disney+ Marvel series Loki has introduced Victor Timely as a Kang variant in the MCU. He first appeared in the post-credits scene of the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Interestingly, the Marvel Cinematic Universe slightly altered the story of Timely from the comics where he was more of a disguise used by Kang instead of a multiversal variant.

Now according to a new theory, Victor Timely might be already acquainted with Howard Stark. The Kang Variant was shown as a passionate scientist who wanted to modernize the world faster. This led to the theory that he might have turned out to be a big help to future big names like Howard Stark.

Did the Kang variant Victor Timely help the Stark family?

In the third episode of Loki season 2, Victor Timely was shown with what looked like a very early model of the Temporal Loom of the TVA at the World’s Columbian Exposition in 1893 Chicago. The variant of Jonathan Majors‘s big baddie is portrayed as a passionate scientist who rose in the 1800s and someone whom many look up to.

According to the latest theory by The Cosmic Circus, Victor Timely might have influenced the life of young Howard Stark (played by Dominic Cooper in the MCU) and the fate of the Stark Industries. He looked like an influential scientist who had a lot of potential so there might be a possibility that he was one of the primary reasons, Stark Industries went on to become such an empire.

In the comics, Timely created several robots of his own to represent aging. This hints that he might have gone on to mentor Howard Stark and developed an amazing bond with the Starks. This suggests that he might also be the reason for many significant events in the MCU and might have also shaped the life of Tony Stark.

Tony Stark had a net worth of $80 billion in the comics. Although it is not stated officially if the Kang variant met Dominic Cooper’s Howard Stark in the MCU, it might be a possibility that he aided Tony Stark’s father in gaining a reputation and having a major name in the future.

The MCU left Victor Timely on a mysterious note

As already stated earlier, the MCU has changed the story of Victor Timely from what the ardent fans saw in the comics. An interesting detail in the comic was his being a Kang from the future. However, in the MCU Ravonna Renslayer and Miss Minutes deliberately give him the TVA Handbook in the past that changed his life.

After Loki remade the multiverse into the Yggdrasil tree to preserve all the branches, the story was altered. In another sequence, we were shown that the TVA handbook was never delivered back in time to the young Victor Timely. The Bootstrap Paradox never occurred and it suggested that the kid most likely led a peaceful life without the complexities of the Multiverse.

However, it would be better to state that the fate of Victor Timely is left on a mysterious note. We still don’t know the effects of the World Tree created by Loki. Although it was assured that this version is better than the Scared Timeline created by He Who Remains, we are yet to see the ramifications of the changed flow of time and space.
