Helldivers 2 is far from perfect but the developers over at Arrowhead Game Studios are doing everything possible to please the gaming community. It is healthy to receive criticism from the player base, especially in areas where the players see fit and need extra attention.

Unfortunately, not everything the developers do seems to appeal to the community, and for good reason. The developers are trying their best to cater to the wants and needs of every player regardless of their preference for playing alone or with a squad and the patrols need some adjustments.

The Gaming Community Is Unhappy With the Patrols in Helldivers 2

Director Johan Pilestedt once teased the latest Helldivers 2 patch which featured some nerfs and buffs for some stratagems and teased the arrival of both new and old foes. While the update did address some of these for the most part, there are still some kinks that needed ironing for the patrols of solo players that involve the enemy spawn rate which is ironic since the players once complained about it.

The gaming community can’t help but nitpick while also sharing their ideas on how to improve the problems they see. The whole point of these updates is to mitigate and rectify any known issues but the problem with bugs and other issues is that another will take its place. Similar to weeds in a field where one will immediately take its place after being plucked out.

Perhaps there is an easier solution that will please the players by adding a few extra patrols in a matter of minutes after the previous encounter to keep the experience thrilling. Players could easily lose interest if there is nothing else to do in a mission or if it is too easy.

Arrowhead Game Studios Need to Figure Out the Appropriate Spawn Rate in Helldivers 2

Arrowhead Game Studios is faced with the difficult task of creating the perfect live-service game with the right balance in every aspect imaginable. Pilestedt addressed the issue of the balancing efforts made by the team and looked into it himself and wanted to remedy the problem as soon as possible.

The lack of patrols seems to be the least of the problems the developers are having to resolve. Ever since the new update was released, a handful of players have been experiencing network issues and crashes which can be infuriating.

Perhaps these issues will be addressed in a future update and will feature new content to keep spice up the experience. At this point, the gaming community should have gotten used to the way how developers release a new update and bear with them.

The players recently discovered another glitch that has nothing to do with the spawn rate but it involves the amount of throwing knives players can carry on their person. Hopefully, this silly issue will be fixed immediately along with the patrol spawn rate.
