The Sherlock Holmes star is all set to release his docuseries on Max which will include his ambitious journey to make his cars acquainted with a sustainable future. The upcoming TV docuseries, Downey’s Dream Cars, will document Downey’s transformation of vintage cars into eco-friendly vehicles using cutting-edge green technology. The Avengers star shared that his collection of cars was adding to the pollution and contradicting this he founded Footprint Coalition, aimings for a sustainable future. But with his productive last three years, RDJ engaged in plans to decarbonize his collection of cars.
“We are what we drive, and having amassed a formidable collection of classic cars over the years, I was a petrol-spewing mess. And a hypocrite, as I’d founded the Footprint Coalition in 2019 to scale technologies that mitigate climate change. Fortunately, I’m a bit of a dreamer. The last 3 years have been an experiment in hope, as I engaged the best and brightest minds to evaluate, educate, elevate, and decarbonize these vehicles in a way that demonstrates the limitless potential of creative problem-solving.”
Robert Downey Jr. shared that the entire journey of transforming his collection has been a challenging yet enlightening one. The superstar added that he believes his efforts along with his team have taken a step towards a sustainable world

It’s also just fun to watch, and for that, I must credit my kids, my wife and boss Susan, Team Downey, Boat Rocker’s Matador Content, and of course, Max and Warner Bros. Discovery. Fans Are Not Impressed By Robert Downey Jr.’s Upcoming Docuseries
Though as per the Chaplin star, the entire motive of the project is to reflect his journey for making his collection of cars compatible with the idea of sustainability. But many fans upon the release of the trailer of the docuseries, believed that the show is nothing more than a flaunt of the Iron Man star’s collection of luxurious cars.

Many argue that the show appears to be an immense display of wealth, highlighting a rich person indulging in their expensive hobby while claiming it as an environmentally conscious act.
The two-episode, Downey’s Dream Cars, will premiere on Max on June 22, 2023.
