The producers are looking for a new James Bond to carry on the legacy of the films since Craig has decided to exit the franchise. There are many actors interested in playing the iconic role but the makers are still confused.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson is interested to play the role of James Bond

The Makers of the film series are currently hunting a new James Bond for their upcoming film. Many actors are in the race to play the next spy but no name has been revealed yet by the makers. As per reports the Bullet Train actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson wants to be part of the famous spy film series. Coral’s John Hill stated that,

“Aaron Taylor-Johnson has attracted strong interest in our James Bond betting in the last 24 hours, forcing us to slash his odds to replace Daniel Craig. Taylor-Johnson is now the clear favorite for the iconic role ahead of James Norton and Henry Cavill respectively.” 

Still, the makers haven’t yet confirmed if Taylor-Johnson will be auditioning for the role or not. The news of the Kick-Ass actor running in the race to become the next James Bond is already making waves on the internet. The spy film series’ fans are excited and eager to know which actor will be replacing Daniel Craig now that Henry Cavill is out of the race.

Martin Campbell says Henry Cavill isn’t as experienced as Daniel Craig

Campbell directed two movies from the film series, Golden Eye and Casino Royale. The 79-year-old director was asked about Cavill playing the charming sleuth in the spy film series. Responding to Cavill’s casting in the film series, Campbell said,

“I did test him for Bond, as you know. He did a very good test, [but] he was too young, and also he wasn’t as experienced as Daniel … Daniel just fitted the part from being a superb actor, and probably the best actor amongst them all.”

As the 40-year-old actor played the role of Sherlock Holmes in Enola Holmes fans thought, Cavill was the ideal choice as James Bond. Many people were rooting for Cavill as many wanted him or Tom Hardy to play the role of the spy in the upcoming installments of the famous film series.
