Did Gojo Really Lose Against Sukuna?

While it was an emotional ride for fans, one Otaku believes Gojo lost against Sukuna on purpose. The fan posted a theory on Twitter (@BIGDADDYGOJO), explaining how Gojo wanted to lose against Sukuna to catch him off guard.

It’s not news that Sukuna is arrogant, and his arrogance has only ballooned after defeating Satoru Gojo. But could it all be a clever plan by Gojo and the rest of the sorcerers to make Sukuna drop his guard? It could be.
In the latest Jujutsu Kaisen chapter, Yuji Itadori and Hiromi Higuruma have entered the battlefield as they plan to fight against the king of curses. Yes, the same Higuruma who once stood against Yuji in the Culling Game arc.

Will Hiromi Higuruma Play a Pivotal Role in Defeating Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen?
There’s no doubt that Sukuna is extremely powerful, and he can eradicate most fighters in the blink of an eye. However, Hiromi Higuruma’s Domain Expansion, Deadly Sentencing, could be the key to defeating Sukuna.
Inside Higuruma’s domain, no violence is allowed as he acts as the lawyer with the Shikigami as the judge. Evidently, it makes his opponent a culprit inside the domain. Hiromi uses his lawyer skills to prove that the culprit is guilty of the Shikigami.
If proven guilty, the Shikigami takes away all cursed energy from the culprit, thus making the job to finish him a piece of cake for Hiromi. Gojo may have planned to exploit this power of Higuruma’s domain to render Sukuna powerless inside the domain.
On the other hand, if Yuji finally awakens his Cursed Technique, it could help in saving Megumi as well. Many believe that Yuji’s CT will be to control his will as he likes it. It could allow him to eat part of the soul to increase his Cursed Energy.
If this fan theory turns out to be true, it will be a great way to move forward toward the ending of Jujutsu Kaisen. Moreover, if Gojo had planned this ahead of time, he could have also been alive.
