He also shared the first glimpse of the Kryptonian superhero’s costume, featuring his iconic logo peeking out from under the snow, along with revealing the updated title for the film. “When I finished the first draft of the script, I called the film Superman: Legacy,” he said before adding, “By the time I locked the final draft, it was clear the title was SUPERMAN.”

It will be the first film under the revamped DC Universe, initiated by the filmmaker’s announcement of Chapter One: Gods and Monsters. David Corenswet is set to portray Clark Kent, also known as Superman, with Rachel Brosnahan joining as Lois Lane.
