Activision is in a very complicated place with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. Fans are not happy with the management of the game; the problem with hackers is not letting players enjoy the game; and some bundles are just too expensive without any reason.
To all this, Activision Blizzard have confirmed a new bug that, according to some players, resets the level of your weapons or even your own level. The official account of Call of Duty on X has posted a message saying that they are trying to solve this bug.
Another problem with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone
Bad luck seems to keep hunting Activision and the Call of Duty IP. Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 are facing many issues with hackers and expensive prices. After the horrible launch of Modern Warfare 3 and becoming the worst-scored Call of Duty ever, the studio keeps trying to give players a nice and joyful experience with no good result whatsoever. Thanks to a new bug, some gamers have suffered a reset of the level of weapons and the level of their accounts as well.

The official X account of Call of Duty updates has confirmed in a post that several players were facing a reset of their progression in guns and accounts in general. They state the following: “preventing progress from being tracked in various areas of the game, including but not limited to events, challenges, battle passes, and SR.” Instantly, fans started to reply to this post, describing an incredible number of cases where the progress in some weapons was just reset to level 1. Other users directly confirmed that all the weapons were back to level 1.
Modern Warfare 3 keeps getting controversial
This surely will be fixed soon, but this is not the first time that a problem like this has messed up the progression for some users. Activision is aware of this concern, but it seems to not have found a permanent solution for this particular complication, like the hacker difficulty in the Warzone matches.
Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 are preparing some big seasonal event involving The Walking Dead universe and, of course, the zombie mode. This event will be available in March and will promote the new AMC’s TV series called The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, which will have Rick Grimes and Michonne as protagonists.
Tell us what you think about this new bug. Will Activision be able to solve this?
