Deadpool 3 Could Halt Production Due To SAG-AFTRA Strike

The Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists has recently decided to go on strike. This strike is being supported by the majority unions in Hollywood, including the Writers Guild of America, who have been on strike for two months now. One of the main reasons for this strike is the unfair working conditions set for the people who work in the film industry and how bigger studios and co-operations take advantage of the people who work for them.

“Hollywood must be a place where every worker, on-screen and off, is treated according to the value their skills and talents command,” they said in a statement, “While the studios have collective worth of trillions of dollars, billions of viewers globally, and sky-high profits, this fight is not about actors against the studios, but rather about workers across all crafts and departments in the industry standing together to prevent mega-corporations from eroding the conditions we fought decades to achieve.”

It has recently been revealed by a source, that due to the SAG-AFTRA deciding to strike, there is a very high chance that Deadpool 3 will have to stop its production. It is expected that this production will resume after all matters have been solved and studios have decided to pay everyone involved, including the actors, fairly and the amount that they deserve.

Many fans were outraged by the entire concept of this strike, misunderstanding the strike as being solely focused on successful and rich actors like Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman who want to make more money than the millions they already make. Some even joked about how Reynolds and Jackman must be missing their rent payments and that is why they are protesting.
