Marvel’s Echo on Disney+ gained attention for its unique release approach and a TV-MA rating. People now wonder if other Netflix Marvel shows will be part of the MCU through the mini-series.
Echo definitely pushed Netflix’s Daredevil series by boosting its viewership and allowing Marvel to focus more on street-style heroes. Before the Daredevil series, Charlie Cox returned to the MCU as Matt Murdock/Daredevil in Echo.
Although the superhero was only shown in the first episode, that too was not for very long—Marvel teased his appearance leading up to Echo‘s premiere. After the return of Masked Man, the big question is whether Jessica Jones will be back in the MCU.
So, the good news is that there are indications that Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, might also make a comeback. Ritter’s recent cryptic post on social media has sparked excitement among fans, hinting at her possible return.
Krysten Ritter Teases Jessica Jones’ Comeback in the MCU
The Daredevil: Born Again series is set to release on Disney+ in 2025. According to The Direct, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Jon Bernthal, and Wilson Bethel will reprise their roles. Its production was resumed on Monday, January 22, after a hiatus caused by strikes from the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
With Netflix’s The Defenders show now on Disney+, fans speculate about the characters’ integration into the MCU timeline. Recently, Jessica Jones star Krysten Ritter posted a video on Instagram wearing the same shirt as her character.

In the caption, she hinted at maybe returning to the MCU. The post included the abbreviation “If you know, you know.” Based on Ritter’s Instagram story, fans are speculating about the return of Jessica Jones to the MCU.
Why Jessica Jones Fits Well in Daredevil: Born Again?
Interestingly, Krysten Ritter’s post came the same month the Daredevil: Born Again TV show started filming. With this, people are guessing she might return in the 2025 show. It makes sense since the Daredevil: Born Again story could fit well for Jessica Jones.
Considering Daredevil’s history with Kingpin, it’s likely that Daredevil would want to bring down Kingpin if he gained power in the city.
It’s logical for Daredevil to call in Jessica Jones (his super-powered investigator ally) if Kingpin runs a shady empire. She’s a powerhouse—super strong, tough as nails, can fly, and ain’t falling for mind tricks. This move could smoothly bring Jessica back into the MCU without stealing the spotlight from Daredevil: Born Again.
