Katie Holmes, the ex-wife of the Edge of Tomorrow actor reportedly had to sign some kind of NDA with the Church of Scientology which made it impossible to reveal the deep secrets. After 7 years of being together, Holmes decided to leave the Top Gun actor and Scientology behind.

The whole affair of Scientology was a terrible business that Tom Cruise was involved with during the early 2000s. Katie Holmes was married to the American Made actor from 2006 to 2012, she was heavily involved with the Church of Scientology during the run of her marriage.
With a war on her mind, Holmes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise without warning which left him dumbfounded. Katie Holmes then quickly made her exit from the Church of Scientology and quickly contacted other ex-Scientology members to assist her during PR conferences and other evidence against the Church of Scientology.
Holmes had to reportedly sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement with the Church of Scientology so that any deep dark secrets may not be revealed to the people of the world. After her divorce, the actress quietly slipped away from the spotlight after some dumb decisions made her career very silent.
Tom Cruise Is Not A Part of Her Daughter Suri Cruise’s Life
After his divorce from Katie Holmes, the shared daughter’s custody of Cruise and Holmes was taken by Katie Holmes. As per the latest news, Suri Cruise is currently 16 and lives in New York with her mother Katie Holmes.
During their divorce, The Mummy actor revealed the following statement “Listen, when there is a divorce … things change. It’s not an ideal scene. It’s not an ideal situation” with a hint of regret. Cruise further clarified that the reason for his divorce was somewhat due to the whole controversial Church of Scientology shenanigans.
After his divorce, plainly stated that he has been estranged from his daughter Suri Cruise ever since the divorce. Tom Cruise is currently busy shooting the upcoming Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two. The recent post of Part One included the actor jumping off a cliff for a stunt in the movie which is set to release on 14 July 2023.
