Sylvester Stallone is one of the most recognized names among movie fans. From career-defining roles in movies such as “Rambo” and “Rocky” to still rocking the world with “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Suicide Squad”, Stallone has aged like fine wine.
Not a long time ago, the legendary action icon made a major life change that echoes the recent move of another A-Lister. Just as Mark Wahlberg traded the Californian sunshine for the bright lights of Las Vegas, Stallone departed from the West Coast, heading elsewhere with his wife.
Sylvester Stallone Left California to Move to Florida With His Wife
Season 2 of The Family Stallone is now streaming on Paramount+. In the premiere episode, Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone revealed the news to their daughter about shifting from California. The couple have three daughters: Scarlet, Sistine, and Sophia Stallone. Their two older daughters recently moved to New York, while their youngest daughter started off her college at the University of Miami leaving their home just an “Empty Net”.
“After long, hard consideration, your mother and I have decided, time to move on and leave the state of California permanently, and we’re going to go to Florida,” Sylvester Stallone to her daughters in Family Stallone. Her wife then added “It’s an empty nest. I need to change it up.”
“I raised all three of our daughters in California. Everything’s a memory to me, memories of them not being there anymore. So I needed a big change, and Sly went along with it,” – Jennifer Flavin Stallone
Sylvester Stallone, however, is not the only Hollywood A-Lister to leave the city of Hollywood. Earlier, Ted actor Mark Wahlberg also left California to move to Los Angeles.
Sylvester Stallone’s Older Daughters Recently Moved to New York
Before Stallone and his wife, their two older daughters had moved out of California. Sophia and Sistine Stallone moved to New York and were even trained by Stallone for self-defense. Not just that, the Rambo star hired Navy SEALs to train his daughters, which was a rigorous training process for the girls. The two shared their experience in an interview with New York Post.
“It was the hardest. It was about six hours we were in those woods,” “Sophia and I got our as***s whooped by these guys. They were the real deal,” “And I’m not surprised my dad put us through something like this because our entire life we grew up with him doing these sort of military-esque, self-defense trainings.” – Sistine Stallone to New York Post
Both seasons of The Family Stallone can be streamed on Paramount+.
