Also, the names of all the directors who have directed the show aren’t known yet either. However, this isn’t a new phenomenon. Information related to Star Wars is mostly shrouded in secrecy. One Take News also reports that the show will be a part of the Mandoverse. As per the site:

“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is the latest show in Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni’s so-called Mando-Verse…(It) is created by Jon Watts, Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni.”

The Skeleton Crew show stars Jude Law, and as per the official synopsis, it’s about 4 kids who are lost in the galaxy and are trying to get home. This show isn’t the only thing on the Daniels’ radar. The duo also signed a five-year deal with Universal back in August 2022. It’s expected that more will be revealed at the annual Star Wars Celebration, held from April 7-10. Some fans of the Daniels hope that the directors will keep on making more creative films. Others bashed Disney for hiring these talented filmmakers to work on their franchise. Recently, Lucasfilm and Star Wars have become a meme for hiring talented directors and then not letting them follow through with their vision. However, the Daniels should be fine because they have already filmed their share for Skeleton Crew. It now remains to be seen if they will be brought on board to direct more Star Wars projects.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will be released sometime in 2023.
