And not just audience or critics, other studios are also taking notes of his performance. Sources have revealed that Disney is looking forward to bringing The Mandalorian star to the MCU for its future projects.
Disney is Eager to Cast Pedro Pascal in the MCU
HBO Max’s The Last of Us, featuring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, has become one of the best game adaptations so far. While fans of the game have praised its creators, Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin, the cast of the show has also been praised for their incredible performance on screen.
And seems like the success of the post-apocalyptic drama is opening new gates for its cast. Disney Studios is reportedly looking forward to casting Pedro Pascal in the MCU. Scooper EmberOnMain shared the claim on Twitter, saying, “Disney wants Pedro Pascal in the MCU ASAP. That is all.”
Seems like the studio has given some thought to Pascal’s wish to star in the MCU as the Narcos star has expressed his wish to star in the cinematic universe. However, the studio has not confirmed anything yet.
Pedro Pascal Wants to Star in the MCU
Fans of the Chilean-American actor have been wondering if they would get to see him alongside the MCU superheroes. And considering that he worked with Disney in The Mandalorian, they have had expectations about Pedro Pascal joining the MCU in the future. However, neither the studio nor the actor shared such intentions.
During his recent interview with WIRED, the Prospect star was asked if he is interested in portraying a superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And he admitted that he does want to star in movies. He said, “But I do want that. I want to be in movies.”
While it is yet not confirmed if the studio is really planning to cast Pedro Pascal in MCU, it would be interesting to see which character could be a better fit for The Last of Us star. Fans have already started discussing the perfect character for him.

Many of them shared that Pascal would be the perfect choice to portray Robbie Reyes, aka Ghost Rider, in the MCU. Some also shared that he could also join the MCU as Dr. Doom or Silver Surfer in the upcoming Fantastic Four or star in Disney+’s Moon Knight as the mercenary Jean-Paul DuChamp, aka Frenchie.
