Over the years Ahsoka has grown to be one of the most popular and loved characters in the Star Wars universe. Even though she has been through a lot nothing comes close to the treacherous Order 66, the canon event is one of the most melancholic events in the entire series. Ahsoka’s life was turned upside-down during this occurrence as before the execution of the order, she left the Jedi Order, distancing herself from the life and politics of the structures.

This event was captured perfectly in the animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars season 7, episode 12 titled Victory and Death. During Order 66, Ahsoka’s master Anakin Skywalker descends into darkness joining the Siths. His disciple was on a Star Destroyer called Tribunal with Captain Rex, a clone trooper. However, she felt that something is wrong with her master.

Her quick thinking saved Captain Rex from being a mindless soldier following the order. However, they were surrounded by clones who saw them as targets, they managed to get to the control room only to learn that the Star Destroyer is on collision course. They fought their way out grabbing a Y-wing and barely escaping. However, after the Tribunal crashed, they returned to fake their death by leaving her lightsaber.

Ahsoka continues to live her life knowing that her Jedi friends were wiped during Order 66, her trust in clones was shattered, and most importantly she could not help her master, Anakin Skywalker from descending into darkness. Moreover, she is in constant evasion from the Empire because of her Force, making her a threat to the Empire’s plans.

However, characters like Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi survived the slaughter, but they can not do anything because the Galactic Empire took reign, and Jedi are still seen as traitors.
