The enthralling story of Dragon Ball shocked fans when they introduced the concept of fusion in the narrative. As it was a new concept, it instantly became famous and held special importance in the Majin Buu arc. Thus, as the story progressed, the concept of fusion became much more detailed and intriguing, even for Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball.

Fans, on the other hand, went on a different path altogether as they learned more and more about the different fusion techniques that the Dragon Ball characters could use depending on the situation and the opponent. It was then that a theory was born about the infinite power glitch with the help of the fusion technique.
According to this theory, two already fused characters, like Gogeta and Gotenks, can also fuse with each other as long as the norms of fusion are followed properly. Even Toriyama once admitted to this concept of two already fused characters fusing once again, giving more hype to the theory.
Dragon Ball Theory About Two Fusions Fusing Together
According to a theory posted by @amon-zero on YouTube, there is a way for two already fused characters to merge with other already fused characters. The best example of this would be Gogeta and Gotenks fusing together to form Gogetenks. However, there are certain conditions that need to be kept in mind.
First of all, the only way for four different characters to fuse together is with the help of the fusion dance, also called the Metamoran fusion. The Metamoran dance was revealed by Akira Toriyama during the Majin Buu saga when Goku asked Goten and Trunks to fuse together. The only other pair to use metamoran fusion in the Dragon Ball narrative are Goku and Vegeta.

The Metamoran fusion is a dance that requires certain conditions, and as long as all goes well, the fusion can take place even in more than two people. Thus, Gogetenks was a possibility, and if the multi-fused character had entered the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super, it would have wreaked havoc on other opponents.
Akira Toriyama Himself Confirmed the Fusion of More Than Two Characters
In 2014, Toriyama answered a bunch of questions about the Majin Buu arc in Dragon Ball Z, and these answers were shared by Kazenshuu. During the Q&A, the Dragon Ball creator was asked, Can anyone perform fusion as long as their body and power match? Toriyama’s answer gave a hint of the perfect four-part fusion that could have changed Dragon Ball.

Toriyama stated:
I think it’s possible to merge no matter the conditions, as long as it all goes well. I even think it’s possible for a larger number of people. However, since it’s quite hard for both parties to strike that delicate balance, it’s very difficult for two extremely different people to fuse. In that sense, synchronized swimmers would probably be really good at Fusion. By the way, there are many different types of Fusion, and the kind Goku learned is the one for increasing battle power.
It is highly unlikely that something as bizarre as Gogetenks will make an appearance in the Dragon Ball narrative at this point in time. However, if the creators had introduced it in the narrative, it certainly would have grabbed a lot of attention.
Even in the non-canonical stories like Dragon Ball GT, fusion like Gogetenks would have become a huge topic of discussion among Dragon Ball fans.
