Hollywood is not new to weird incidents happening on-sets or off-sets. This comes after various reports about the strange supernatural incidents that have previously happened on several sets of horror films. But this one time, it was different. Because this one time, Al Pacino’s Scarface co-star Tammy Lynn Leppert went missing without a trace.

Although this happened around five months before the release of the film Scarface, the circumstances under which Leppert disappeared were still awfully mysterious and unsettling, which followed after she started displaying signs of paranoia and persecutory beliefs.

While actress Tammy Lynn Leppert disappeared without a trace a mere five months before the release of her last film Scarface, she had started displaying some seriously unsettling symptoms of paranoia and persecutory beliefs a little time before that.

It all started after Leppert went to a party following the end of her film Spring Break‘s shoot, where she reportedly had a disturbing experience. This was followed by her being paranoidly convinced that somebody would eventually get to harm her and kill her.

Then she got cast into a key scene of Scarface as the pretty blonde girl who was dressed in a bikini and intentionally distracted the lookout cars to prevent them from discovering and intervening in a torture scene.

However, while working on the film, Al Pacino‘s co-actress broke down over a violent scene on the fourth day and was then taken to her trailer where she expressed her concerns about money laundering and people wanting to murder her.

Following this experience, her mother arranged a medical evaluation for her, but the doctors couldn’t find any faults with her about alcohol or drug abuse and the actress was released after 72 hours.

After all of this, on the 6th of July, 1983, Tammy Lynn Leppert asked one of her male friends to drive her to an unspecified location. However, the pair had a fight on the way, and her friend dropped her off at Cocoa Beach, Florida, which was not far from her home.

But that was the last time that the Scarface actress was ever seen.

Tammy Lynn Leppert Is Now Therorized To Have Been Killed By Serial Killers

The police and FBI have been searching for Tammy Lynn Leppert ever since with the DNA profile they have acquired of her, but so far, they have had no leads whatsoever and the actress is theorized to have been murdered by one of the serial killers who were on the loose at the time.

The suspects include Christopher Wilder, an amateur photographer cum serial killer who went on a cross-country crime spree in Florida a few months later and whose habitual target to rape and kill were models and beauty contestants like Leppert.

The other suspect was John Brennan Crutchley, a rape convict and kidnapper who was also suspected of being a professional spy as well as a serial killer. Since he had moved to Florida and resided in the same county as the Scarface actress, he was one of the major suspects.

However, because of no acquired physical evidence tying either of them to the case, neither Wilder nor Crutchley could be proven guilty of having murdered Scarface star Tammy Lynn Leppert.

As of today, more than three decades have passed since the then-eighteen-year-old actress went missing, with the police and FBI left with no helpful leads whatsoever.
