Building up on that steam of noble accolades, he was all set to release his first-ever video game titled CryptoZoo, which was all set to come out after three years in development and millions in funding. But now, he has announced that the release isn’t going to happen, and the people who have sued him for his promise thus far are eligible for a refund for a fraction of the funding, which has made YouTuber Coffeezilla call it all a con and nothing more.

When Logan Paul came out with the offer to the public of a video game in development by him and his team called CryptoZoo, all of his fans were excited about it. The game promised the investors that it was going to be a game where they could play and earn cryptocurrency in the process, which generated massive funding from the investors. But recently, Paul has revealed that the game was no longer in development.

Thus, YouTuber Coffeezilla was quick to reiterate the fact he made almost a year earlier that this proposed game was nothing but a cryptocurrency scam. In his most recent video, we can see him stating all the facts that he had previously highlighted about the various methods Paul used to farm investment into his game and how he was suspicious about it from the start. In the video, he says:

“Even at my most pessimistic, I thought that Logan would crap out at least some abomination that he described as a game, but I was wrong. I mean, I wasn’t wrong the first time [Paul] said I was wrong when he said that he was still going to finish the game, I was wrong that he was going to do it at all. This is what makes it such a massive con. These investors spent three years waiting for the game, and after all of that, all that he offers is a 12% refund, no game, and 30 days to accept.”

This is sure to massively hit the reputation that the influencer was able to create in the last couple of years, especially with his fans who believed in him.

What Is The Whole Story?

The proposition of CryptoZoo was made all the way back in 2021, and since then, there have been two years of no updates from Paul regarding the release, which is why investors have been suing him for a year.

Thus, this back-and-forth between him and his investors is what prompted the professional boxer to pay for the settlements without even releasing the game that he promised would be released in either 2023 or 2024. The problem is that the total claims are worth $18.5 million, and he’s just paying for settlements amounting to $2.3 million only with the condition that all of them take their lawsuits back.
