The One Where With LeBlanc And Matthew Perry

Shows in the 90s often ran into the problem of not having enough budget or spending too much. To recover that money, the series used to have a minimal episode with not many locations and a simple premise.

In the episode, Matt LeBlanc’s iconic impression of Chandler Bing with “Could I BE wearing anymore clothes?” was iconic to witness and Joey Tribbiani doing lunges in Chandler Bing’s clothes received laughter from the audience around the world.

However, Joey and Chandler’s fighting came at a personal cost to Matt LeBlanc as the actor suffered an injury while shooting this episode! This injury was later written into the show in quite a hilarious manner.

The cut was kept in the television show but production was halted temporarily. When LeBlanc had healed enough, he wore a cast over his hand. This cast was actually used by the actor for his pain.

However, in the show, it was written with Joey Tribbiane injuring himself while jumping on the bed! This just goes on to show how well the producers knew about their characters and what they would do even if it’s off-screen.
