Netflix’s live special of The Roast of Tom Brady was expected to hit off with a blast, and so it did. However, things didn’t exactly go as planned or as anticipated, as the audience realized a few minutes into the episode. This was because the millions of viewers who were airing it live were met with a whole new round of discomfort due to a joke Jeff Ross made.
Why? Well, to put it simply, the joke that the 58-year-old comedian cum actor made was a bit inappropriate in itself due to previous controversies surrounding Brady because of it. But what made it even worse was the former NFL quarterback’s reaction to it. And ever since, netizens have been sharing the most hilarious reactions to this awkward live situation.
Tom Brady Couldn’t Handle Jeff Ross’ Live Massage Joke
The Roast of Tom Brady is a show where the former hot NFL quarterback has to face the heat live as Kevin Hart hosts the roast comedy. But while Brady claimed he’s “unroastable” in the series’ trailer, it didn’t quite seem like it in the recently aired first episode.
As millions of viewers saw, this episode starred Jeff Ross stepping on stage to joke about the former footballer’s career and how he finally got picked “accidentally.” But then he squeezed some praise in too, mimicking Brady as saying, “I’m the best decision your organization has ever made.”
However, as the audience erupted into tremendous applause over that statement, Ross proved everyone wrong about it being a word of praise as he delivered the punchline while continuing to mimic Brady, saying:
“Would you like a massage?”
For the unversed, the comedian was referencing the owner of the New England Patriots, Robert Kraft’s 2019 controversy, which was basically him getting arrested for allegedly soliciting prostitution in a massage parlor in Florida (the charges were dropped later on).
Needless to say, this punchline launched everyone into an uncomfortable stance, even as Ross went on to blow a kiss at Kraft, who was sitting among the attendants. But what made this already awkward situation even more cringe-worthy was Tom Brady‘s reaction to it.
Soon after he made this joke, Brady was seen looking clearly bothered as he twisted in his seat to look at Ross before stepping up to whisper seriously into his ear (which went on to be heard by everyone by the courtesy of the hot mic):
“Don’t say that sh-t again.”
This one line of warning from Brady had Ross immediately realizing that what he said wasn’t the most appropriate of jokes, as he instantly responded with a nervous “OK, OK,” before proceeding to shed light on Kraft, saying, “I love what you do for the Jews, Robert Kraft. You’re incredible.”
Yet, while that was that, what is truly interesting is the audience’s reactions to this unarguably inappropriate joke.

While some are comparing this situation to the one Will Smith had with Chris Rock at the Oscars, others are roasting Brady for not being able to take a joke. In fact, some are even claiming Ross should have gone back and said the joke again just to piss Brady off.

Well, clearly, this episode of the roast didn’t go as planned, and nor did the fan reactions. But at least we now know that Brady is definitely not un-roastable!
