Following Jeremy Renner’s disastrous blow at the start of 2023, fans across the globe were left in utter dismay and were concerned whether the actor will be able to recover from the traumatic event. But defying all odds, Renner is now better than he has been in the last few months and has finally opened up about the injuries that he endured while saving his nephew from his snowcat.

Even though the actor never lost his composure during these adverse times, however, Jeremy Renner revealed that he was initially scared if his body would be able to recover from the damage.

Jeremy Renner wasn’t sure if his body could ever heal from these injuries

While speaking with Diane Sawyer and reflecting on his devasting accident back in January, Jeremy Renner expressed that he was able to feel his bone getting crushed by the 14330-pound snowplow. After suffering, “Eight ribs broken in 14 places. Right knee, right ankle broken. Left ankle broken. Right shoulder broken. Face, eye socket, jaw broken. Lung collapsed.”, Renner was scared about his body and if it could recover from this devastating blow. The actor said,

“What’s my body going to look like? Am I just going to be a spine and a brain, like a science experiment?”

But despite all the difficulties the Hawkeye star endured following this tragic event, Renner doesn’t have any regrets and expressed that he would do it again if it means saving his loved ones. The actor also explained that he never gave up hope during these adverse times and was assured that he was going to survive this. He said,

“I chose to survive. That’s not gonna kill me, no way. I’ve lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience, but I’ve been refueled and refilled with love and titanium.”

And following his fighting and optimistic persona, Renner is also set to mark his first press event since his snowplow mishap on 11 April.

Jeremy Renner is set to mark his first public press event after the snowplow accident

After suffering life-threatening injuries that could have left the actor crippled for months, Renner is now ready to move past this traumatic experience and return to the world of entertainment.

The Avengers star will reportedly mark his appearance during the Press event of his upcoming Disney Plus show Rennervations in Los Angeles’s Regency Village Theater. According to reports, the 4-episode series will revolve around renovating decommissioned government vehicles into intriguing creations to serve kids in different communities worldwide.
