Henry Cavill has been called many names throughout his career. Being an avid gamer, Cavill vowed to bring the Warhammer 40,000 franchise to the screens and Amazon helped him achieve it. According to insider sources, Amazon Studios were thrilled to have Cavill on board after his departure from the DCU and The Witcher.

From what the Internet says, Henry Cavill was given the status of the “Geek God” after Amazon Studios joined in for Cavill’s magnum opus. Joining hands, the Enola Holmes actor and Amazon Studios bring the people…Warhammer 40,000.

Henry Cavill, Amazon Studios, And A “Geek God”

From what seems to be the case, Henry Cavill is an avid gamer and especially a fan of games like World of Warcraft and the Warhammer franchise. Continuing to portray his love for these games, Cavill portrayed the role of Geralt of Rivia in Netflix’s The Witcher all the while hoping to one day star in a series/movie adaptation of his favorite games.

As per insider sources, the Man of Steel actor had wanted to join Amazon Studios since they acquired the rights to Warhammer 40,000 some time back. Now that the actor has been relieved from the DCU and The Witcher, Cavill eagerly joined Amazon Studios for their venture. It was the opposite case for Cavill however since it was Amazon Studios that was elated upon the arrival of Henry Cavill in their franchise.

Along with the fantastic news, Henry Cavill also stated that he will be serving as an executive producer for the series. Being a well-known gamer, the people eagerly await further news about Henry Cavill’s venture into the sci-fi fantasy world of the Warhammer series.

The title is not as bad as it seems. Merely a game of ownership, the Guy Ritchie-directed upcoming movie The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare has been bought by Lionsgate Studios. As per reports, the film’s shooting was supposed to start in Turkey in recent times but due to the recent earthquake, the film was eventually delayed.

Director Guy Ritchie gave his condolences to the victims of the Turkey earthquake and gave his support to the country and its families.

“We do so with profound sympathy for everyone affected. Our thoughts are with the members of our crew with family in the region. We wish to express our sincere condolences to the people of Turkey. We stand by them and are committed to supporting members of our production team and the wider community over the coming weeks and months.”

With a plethora of various movies and series headed his way, the actor will be back in theater and television screens back in no time. The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is currently in production while Henry Cavill’s Warhammer series will soon have updates released for the people.
