The 2023 Writers Guild of America strike has halted the production of many American television shows and film projects. Writers Guild of America (WGA), which represents roughly 11,500 film, television, news, radio, and online writers, is currently on strike. They are demanding higher, stable pay as well as fairer deals and contracts and provisions about artificial intelligence.

With many films and TV shows struggling to secure a solid release date, it has been revealed by Marvel that the fourth Captain America movie will hit the theatres on May 3rd, 2024. Sources also confirm that the movie is all set to wrap up its production by the end of this month.

Marvel Studios has revealed the release date of the upcoming fourth Captain America movie, Captain America: Brave New World. Initially, it was revealed that the movie will be named Captain America: New World Order, however, now fans got a new name and release date. A picture of Anthony Mackie and Harrison Ford on the film’s set was also posted.

Reports have stated that the film will be wrapping up its production by the end of this month, this means that the movie was not affected by the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike.

Many shows like Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert have stopped airing live. Many TV shows like the CBS drama Evil and the Apple TV+ comedy Loot have also stopped production.

The Marvel fans were worried as the pre-production of Marvel Studios’ Blade, was also halted. However, it seems like the production of the next Captain America movie is in full swing.
