It must take a lot of work and dedication to keep a franchise going on for over two decades. The Fast and the Furious franchise starring Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto is soon going to come out with yet another movie titled, Fast X. While a lot of fans of the franchise agree that the Fast and the Furious name is being milked a bit too much, the franchise still has more time to its name.

Avengers: Infinity War came to the big screens with a bang. All the superheroes across the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a single movie were bound to wreak havoc at the box office. It looks like Vin Diesel, who has stuck with the franchise through thick and thin has something of the same sort under his sleeve. While actors like Michelle RodriguezJohn CenaHelen Mirren, etc are all set to reprise their respective roles, Fast X is ready to see some new characters, one of whom is fuelled by the fire of revenge.

Fast X will see Jason MomoaBrie Larson, Rita Moreno, and a few more new characters. This huge ensemble has fans having flashbacks of Infinity War where the superheroes came together to defeat a world-ending threat. Let’s not forget that a few actors in the star cast already have had their superhero training as Aquaman, Captain Marvel, Peacemaker, and Bloodshot. Check out what Twitter has to say below.

The question of whether or not Fast X is an Infinity War-level movie will soon be answered as the film is all set to be released pretty soon. However, Fast X sure has some similarities to the superhero-ridden film including the fact that it will be a two-part finale as well as the insane budget. Fast X’s budget is around $340 million, a number quite close to that of Infinity War. Since the latter was one of the most entertaining and seat-gripping movies we have watched, we can only imagine what would happen when we add family to it!

Momoa is said to be playing the role of Dante who is the son of Hernan Reyes, the drug kingpin and villain of Fast Five. Reyes was killed by Dominic in the movie. Ever since then, Dante has been plotting his revenge and it looks like he is here to close the deal.

Talking to Variety, Momoa stated that the character is “Sadistic and androgynous” as well as “a bit of a peacock.” He also added that he has a lot of issues (and some daddy issues as well). As the Fast and the Furious franchise is closing in on the finish line, it’s safe to assume that the fans would have to bid their final farewell to at least one character at the hands of Dante. The question is, will it be Dom or will the power of family help him win this fight?

All questions will soon be answered as Fast X is set to release on May 19, 2023.
